collage and drawing on Moleskine squared paper and photoshop

I don’t know where this one came from. I love flowers and vases. The cowlike tablecloth seems to refer to The Netherlands, my homeland, where on a normal day you encounter at least ten cows. Oh, and also a lot of flowers.

‘… and don’t forget to smell the flowers along the way’
I read this once, but I don’t remember whose words they are.
This bird is a result of experimenting with drawing on my tablet using Photoshop. I am curious to find out if it gives me the same feeling as drawing with more traditional technics. And what can I do more with digital technics? Do they broaden my pallette? For now I will keep on playing and see where it takes me.
These last couple of weeks I find it difficult to make time to make art and to publish some of it here. I’m trying to pick up the habit of posting 4 to 5 times a week again. That means that I have to be a little bit less perfectionistic about what I make. So today I post this image of a summer feeling. Just some strokes of color made with photoshop. I hope you enjoy it. I certainly enjoyed making it!
