It’s been a while since I made a collage. I love the spontaneity of collage making. Here I used an old Happinez magazine. There are always beautiful photos in this magazine. This time I was mostly attracted by the structures and the warm colors. In that way it is a colorstudy: pink, terracotta, gold, orange, brown and white seem to glow beautiful together.
I am participating in Winterschool 2019, a 4 week design course or -challenge from ‘Make It In Design‘, the online surface design school of Rachael Taylor. We are now supposed to do something around the theme cosmos-celestial. This is my idea. I call the design ‘the sky is (not) your limit’.
This is what my doodle-Muze brought me today. A red cat, an owl and a grumpy old frog with a vase with flowers. And let’s not forget the shady place to sit and ponder, the lamp and the big flower. Well, I definitively don’t know what this drawing is supposed to mean? Some sign about the coming year? Whatever! It looks mysterious and for the moment that is good enough for me!
Have a great day everybody and a very happy New Year!

…to be continued, maybe even tomorrow, or it might be next week, depending on the inspiration I find
